Q. Why are you no longer distributing Office Accounting?
We continually evaluate our business strategies to make sure we’re working to meet the needs of customers,
partners and shareholders. With that in mind, we have determined that existing free templates within Office
used with Excel was a better option for small businesses, and the Microsoft Dynamics ERP products were
appropriate for mid-range organizations.
Q. When will this take effect?
On November 16, 2009 Microsoft will officially stop distributing Office Accounting.
Q. Which versions of Office Accounting are affected?
All Microsoft Office Accounting products in the UK and North America are affected.
This includes: Office Accounting Express, Office Accounting Standard, Office Accounting Professional,
Office Accounting Professional Plus, Office Accounting 3-user and Small Business Accounting.
Q. What will happen to Office Accounting customers who purchase a product license before November 16, 2009?
Customers who purchase a product license for Office Accounting before November 16, 2009 may continue to use the Office Accounting product after November 16, 2009.
Q. What about the services offered with Microsoft Office Accounting?
Online sales from eBay and credit profile from Equifax will no longer be available after December 15, 2009. However, your customers will still be able to pay emailed invoices directly through PayPal. In addition, credit card processing services and the ability to order compatible checks and forms will still be available.

If you purchased a product license for a downloadable version of Office Accounting and you have lost the
Product key or need a link to download the software you purchased, please enter your email address used
when purchasing this product at our Resend Confirmation Email.
Q. My key doesn’t work what should I do?
If you would like us to validate that this key is the correct key you purchased, please submit a request to
get your confirmation email again at our site: If you have validated that your key is the key in your
confirmation email, you must contact Microsoft technical support.
Q. How can I return Office Accounting Professional 2009?
If you would like to return your purchase of Microsoft® Office Accounting Professional 2009,
please visit the returns page found in your original product activation email or click on the following
link Return Your Product. This will walk you through returning the activation key. It will also display
the confirmation page that you may print for your records. The return policy is 30 days from time of purchase.
Please note: the backup CD and any shipping charges are non-refundable.
Q. How can I send my confirmation email to a new email address?
If you would like us to forward your confirmation email to a new address, please visit the Customer Service page.
In the description, please provide us with your full name, address and the order number for your original
purchase. Once we have this information, we will verify it against our database and forward your confirmation
email to the email address of your choice.
